PDFReadyGo is free to use. It is paid for by ads and, on a few pages, by affiliate links.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link takes you to another company’s website and tells that company you came from PDFReadyGo. If you then buy a paid plan or service, the company may pay PDFReadyGo a commission. You pay the same price as anyone else.

Which links are affiliate links

We currently have two affiliate programs. The first is with Jotform, an online form builder. Its links appear on these pages, each marked “affiliate link” with a note just above it:

The second is with Tax1099, a paid online service for e-filing tax forms such as the 1099 with the IRS. Its link appears only on How to fill out Forms 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC, marked the same way.

How we choose

We only point to another service when PDFReadyGo can’t do the job, such as sending a form to other people and collecting their answers, or e-filing tax forms with the IRS. A commission never decides what we recommend. If a free option does the job well, we say so.

Your files and your data

PDFReadyGo’s own tools never upload your files. Affiliate services work differently. Jotform is an online service, so the forms you build there and the answers people send are uploaded to and stored on Jotform’s servers. Tax1099 is also an online service: to e-file, you enter or upload payer and recipient details, including taxpayer identification numbers, and they are stored on its servers. Each service has its own terms and privacy policy. Read them before you share personal details.

When you follow an affiliate link, the company can tell that you came from PDFReadyGo, because the link carries our partner code and the company may store a cookie. The companies report clicks, sign-ups and commissions to us. PDFReadyGo never sees the files, forms or tax details you send to them.

Independent

PDFReadyGo is an independent website. Apart from these affiliate programs, it is not owned by, sponsored by or partnered with Jotform or Tax1099. If we join another program, we will add it to this page and update the date above.
