Fill in each day’s clock-in, clock-out and unpaid break. Totals update as decimal hours and HH:MM, including overnight shifts. Add a rate to estimate regular and overtime pay, download a PDF or CSV, or send the hours into the invoice generator. For payment estimates on a loan, see the loan calculator.
Good to know before you begin
This tool creates estimates from the times you type. It is not a certified payroll record and does not apply every local overtime or break rule. Confirm totals with your workplace before submitting hours or pay.
How to fill a time card
- Choose 1 or 2 weeks and enter clock-in, clock-out and unpaid break for each day.
- Optional: add an hourly rate and overtime rules, then review daily and weekly totals.
- Download a PDF or CSV, or send the hours to the invoice generator.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a legal payroll timesheet?
No. The calculator gives estimates from the times you enter. It is not legal, tax or payroll advice, and it does not replace your employer’s official timekeeping system.
How are overnight shifts counted?
If clock-out is earlier than or equal to clock-in, the shift is treated as crossing midnight. For example, 22:00 to 06:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break is 8.00 hours.
How does overtime work here?
When overtime is on, hours above your weekly threshold (default 40) in each week on the card are paid at your multiplier (default 1.5). Rules vary by workplace and location; this is only an estimate.
Are my times uploaded?
No. The math, PDF and CSV stay in your browser. A draft can be saved in this browser’s local storage only.
